The UNIcréa Fair is open to all forms of art and welcomes talented creators to the Tremplin stage. On the programme for your evenings: Concert, Catering and UNIcréa Good Humour!
2 "Evenings at the Castle" are offered to you (until 11pm) to exchange between Creators and Visitors, in a magical place: the Castle of La Sarraz!

Le Tremplin presents Billy The Giver
Musical afterwork with Billy The Giver. Italian pop-rock-folk street singer, travelling all over Europe and during festivals. Various international covers will be performed, but also his own compositions! We are happy to listen to him acoustically in a warm and cosy place.

16:30 : Demonstration - basket felting
By superimposing layers of woollen scales, wet with soapy water and with movement, we can create a non-woven textile material that can be modulated in volume. Ludivine Gérardin, felt maker, presents this technique - UNIvers du Textile
6.30 pm: Demonstration - Become the creator of your own musical décor!
Some old pianos can no longer be tuned and become cumbersome. Backstage MusicWear dismantles them and offers to make them into a decorative object that you can shape to your liking.

Le Tremplin presents Peter King
Live acoustic music evening with Peter King, singer-songwriter from Tennessee, who has been active on the Lausanne music scene for 14 years with his tasty mix of pop, soul and folk. He will be accompanied by the talented guitarist Jones Forner, who will spice up the songs with his colourful harmonies, groove and creative arrangements.

11.30am: Demonstration - Hat making
Selected fabrics, sharp scissors and a lot of imagination - these are the essential ingredients for making a hat, and of course the sewing machine! Meet hatmaker Annina Issler and follow the development of a hat live. UNIvers du Textile
2.30 pm: Demonstration of an emblematic technique of leather work: the saddle stitch (hand sewing).
It consists of several steps: the drawing of the seam, the drilling of the holes, the preparation of the thread, the hand sewing and the finishing.

16h30 : Demonstration - Discover the setting and the making of a gold bar

Where?
The Château de La Sarraz is located between Geneva and Yverdon-Les-Bains. Address : Le Château 1, 1315 La Sarraz. Several free parking spaces are available in the town. Come by train! The train station of La Sarraz is a 3 minute walk from the castle.
The Château de La Sarraz is one of the three Swiss sites to be awarded the "European Heritage" label. For 8 years, we have been colouring this magical place with creations and all the rooms of the castle are used! (and there are some ...)
Take advantage of your visit to discover the Château's brand new exhibition "The keys to the castle are yours.
The Château de La Sarraz is also home to the Horse Museum and presents its collections in the exceptional setting of the former barn of the Château. During your visit to UNIcréa, you will also be able to discover the whole of the Museum of the Horse.
